Corlin: Swedish Eyewear for the Modern World

Corlin is a modern Swedish eyewear brand that’s changing the game in the 21st century. Their ethos: To cautiously design high-quality eyewear that is both stylish and comfortable. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and bold design, the brand aim to alter how eyewear brands operate in the modern world. When Corlin launched in 2017, they only had one design in a few different colourways. Since then, the assortment has expanded while maintaining the same focus on craftsmanship and visual expression, including sunglasses, blue light glasses, ski goggles, and accessories.

Designed in-house at their studio in Stockholm, their sunglasses are made using a few, but steady material compositions. All of their sunglasses have UV 400 protection, the majority are equipped with a CR-39 lens that is anti-scratch resistant and a five-cylinder hinge connects the arms to the front – it sounds nerdy, but it is these kinds of details that you should focus on when it comes to investing in eyewear, say no to frames that break after one summer or lenses that a baby could scratch in an instant!

For SS23, Corlin launched a new brand identity which tracks back to the flourishes of the 60s, but without trading in the brand’s signature colour palette and silhouettes. It’s simple and suave but bold and bubbly all at the same time, the perfect refined, but familiar kind of branding. To accompany the rebrand, 6 new sunglasses styles will be added throughout the season, featuring versatile unisex offerings, something that I think is underrated when it comes to shopping for eyewear.

Discover Corlin’s stunning sunglasses, glasses, and ski goggles via their website, and grab yourself a true lifetime investment.
