Who do you look up to?

I look at those who deserve attention – beautiful, honest, generous and kind people.

Are you in love?

I’m usually in love with my husband, and he’s a sweetheart. But I also fall in love every week with some kind of music and listen to it on repeat for several days. The last time it was the French composer Christophe Chassol.

Last time you laughed?

I laugh often enough, so most likely I am laughing at this moment when you read this text.

What is creativity to you?

This is both suffering and joy.

What do you think of when you hear the word ‘reform’?

I feel good, I think it’s right, that it’s for the sake of peace in the future.

What does your work mean to you?

Well, this is the only process where I consider myself to be good and useful.

Last text message you sent?

‘Hey Erica. Sorry to write so late. Can you please take your stripper boots tomorrow, and your cowboy boots too. This is not exactly the post-apocalyptic topic I wanted but I’ll decorate them. And Kalervo’s glasses, yellow and blue. That will be fire!!!!!!!’

What is your favourite part of the creative process?

The best moment in creativity is when there is a discussion, and you can talk about it. Art exhibitions and auctions are great for this.
