I wanted to create a futuristic look with a graphic liner and lots of highlights. The skin was natural with contour shading and lots of highlights and I used nude on the lips to emphasis the edgy look. We created three different graphic versions of the eyeliner shape, small, medium and large. This year we used lovely organic skincare and makeup products from Evolve Beauty and ILIA Beauty to make these looks.

The models’ skin was prepped with Evolve’s ‘Miracle Facial Oil’, and the makeup products used were ILIA Beauty’s ‘Super Serum Skin Tint’, ‘Clean Line Liquid Liner’, ‘Clean Line Gel Liner’ and bronzer in ‘Novelty’.

Skall Studio

The makeup for Skall Studio was all about a beautiful summer glow in warm, earthy tones. We wanted the girls to be the best version of themselves, with dewy skin, highlights, and we only used earthy tones and copper, to keep the feeling warm and natural. We had gloss on the eyes and cheekbones to give even more dewiness and kept the lips matte, to keep the makeup look balanced.

The models’ skin was prepped with Evolve’s ‘Daily Defense Moisture Mist’ and ‘Miracle Facial Mist’. For the makeup they used ILIA Beauty’s bronzer in ‘Novelty’, eyeshadow palette in ‘Warm Nude’ and multi-stick in ‘Ladybird’.

The 90’s are back, so we embraced thinner brows, lip liner and greasy, smokey eyes in a narrow sexy shape. The brows were only brushed to make them as flat as possible and we used a bit of concealer to make them look smaller. We used a classic warm brown lip liner, a pale nude lip and a bit of highlight at the pouch of the lip to give some fullness. The eyes were kept in a narrow shape in 3 different colours – green, blue and black. The shape of the eye was created with 90’s Kate Moss for Gucci in mind and we put a bit of gloss on the make it sexy and cool.

The models’ skin was prepped with Evolve’s ‘Miracle Facial Oil’ and for the makeup ILIA Beauty’s ‘Super Serum Skin Tint’, lips were in ‘Color Haze Pigments’ in ‘Waking Up’, and for the eyes ‘Clean Gel Liner’ and ‘Clean Liquid Liner’ were used, topped off with bronzer in ‘Novelty’ on their cheeks.

Inspired by holidays in Italy, beaches and the sun, we used quite a bit of bronzer and warm tones. The full look is back and I love it – you can wear blush, eyeliner and lipstick! We used bronzer where the sun hits, the forehead, tops of the cheeks and on the bridge of the nose. For the lips we mixed two textures and two shades, mixing a matte and a shiny lipstick for the perfect look.
— MARIE THOMSEN

Products used were MAC Cosmetics’ ‘Mineralize Skinfinish’, ‘Glow Play’ blush, ‘Extended Play Lash’ and ‘Powderkiss’ lipstick in ‘Scattered Petals’.

The look for Helmstedt was inspired by mermaids, with a wavy shape on the eyes in silver and wet skin, as if they’d just come directly out of the water. The lips where a soft nude with plenty of gloss.
— MARIE THOMSEN

Products used to create the look were MAC Cosmetics’ ‘Prep & Prime Essential Oils’ mixed with ‘Strobe Cream’, ‘Face & Body Radiant Sheer Foundation’, ‘Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer’, ‘Glow Play’ blush in ‘Rosy Does It’,’ Prep & Prime Essential Oils Stick’ and ‘Lipglass’ in ‘Clear’.
