Veneda Carter X FLATLIST – A Sunnies Match Made in Heaven
At just 28 years old, Veneda Carter has already made a big name for herself in the fashion industry. Carter’s collaboration with Danish eyewear brand FLATLIST is a match made in heaven, and after being recruited by Kanye West in 2016 to work for Yeezy, we were excited to see the new eyewea collection. Designed entirely by Carter, the collection is an authentic reflection of her unique, 90s inspired style. Based in Los Angeles and raised in Copenhagen by Polish parents, the former model became even more successful when she was chosen by Kim Kardashian to be her personal stylist. Despite her impressive resume, Carter maintains a relatively low profile and lets her work speak for itself.
Her collaboration with FLATLIST is designed to make heads turn. Heavily influenced by the 90s and futurism, the new sunglasses collection consists of two unisex styles called Disco and Daze that come in six exciting color combinations. Disco is comprised of one single lens, while Daze has two lenses with thicker and more rounded frames. Both are made from Italian Mazzuchelli acetate, with lenses from Zeiss Optics, and silicone-coated hinges from the German eyewear supplier OBE. Whether you are partial to a classic all-black style or wanting to spice up your look with funkier hues like purple, blue or orange, this collection has got you covered.
