Our Favourite: Body and Face Sunscreens
Most of us know the importance of wearing SPF during the summer. But how many of us wear SPF in the winter? Whenever I get the question: “If you were stranded on a deserted island what would you bring?” My answer will always SPF. Think about it, your goal is to survive! Here are some of my favourite sunscreens in case you get trapped on a deserted island this summer (one can dream):
Raunsborg Sun Lotion SPF 30
Raunsborg SPF 30 sunscreen is a nourishing sunscreen that protects your skin from the sun’s sharp UVA and UVB rays. What I love about this product is that it’s formulated with natural ingredients that keep your skin nourished and healthy. The unique thing about this sunscreen is that its’ main ingredient is seaweed extract – It includes not one, but two types of natural seaweed extract, found in the shallow waters around Hornbæk and the Danish coastline. The benefits of seaweed are literally endless – it’s rich in vitamins, minerals and has specific nourishing and softening attributes, which are beneficial for very dry and sensitive skin. An added benefit is that seaweed is also known for is its anti-aging properties – what a super ingredient! The thick water/sweatproof sunscreen stays on all day, no matter if you’re at the beach or the gym, so you’ll only need to apply it once, perfect for getting up and getting on with your day.

ACO SUN PROTECT WATER SPF 25
Looking for a fast-absorbing and non-greasy formula that literally feels like water? Look no further than Aco’s water sunscreen! Applying sunscreen should be a simple and smooth process, and that is exactly what Aco achieved with this sunscreen. Idun Minerals All-In-One Face Cream Solstråle SPF 25
A face cream, sunscreen and a primer that can be used under makeup? YES PLEASE. ‘Solstråle’ is what this face cream is called in Swedish which translates to ‘sunbeam’ and it really lives up to its’ name, because you will feel like a sunbeam after you apply it! The all-in-one formula protects, smoothes, hydrates and protects your skin with SPF 25. The face cream is enriched with 3% niacinamide (vitamin B3) which will strengthens your skin’s barrier, evens out skin tone and reduces both pores and fine lines. Most importantly the sunscreen’s UV protection will protect you from UVA, UVB, infrared radiation and HEV light! Idun’s Solstråle is safe to use if you have sensitive skin as it is completely free of perfume, but you will need to apply it a few times a day for consistent coverage.
