What is creativity to you?

Creativity is something magical. Sometimes, I get a difficult commission where I think “no way, I don’t know how to solve this, it’s impossible”.Then I go for a walk, for a run or I go to sleep, anything, and suddenly there is this magical moment where the creativity is just there and the answer to any difficult question always shows up. I love it. 

“Often I wake up and write down ideas, or I need to stop in a run and write stuff down. Creativity is fun! ”

What does your work mean to you?

I express myself through my art. I think it’s easier to draw my opinion, than to explain it with words. If I want to say something about the world we are living in, for example something political, I have to draw it straight away to “get it out of my system”. My work means a lot to me. My work is me.

What do you think of when you hear the word “happiness”?

Colours, animals, my family,  my friends, nature, music, art, drawing, living in the moment, carelessness, freedom, love!

Last text message you sent?

“Thank you for the lovely pictures” – to my daughter’s teacher, who sent me pictures of her in kindergarten yesterday.

Are you in love?

Yes ?

Last time you laughed?

I laughed with my husband yesterday. He is the funniest man alive.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

At my studio, drawing, doing my thing, having fun! Possibly getting more cool commissions and painting more murals, and maybe more international commissions too!
