Introducing: Nordic Natural Beauty Awards

This summer is bound to be an exciting time for the Nordic businesses that specialise in natural cosmetics. A Finland-based company is to organise a first of its kind beauty challenge, for natural cosmetics manufacturers from the Nordics – the Nordic Natural Beauty Awards.

The aim of the Nordic Natural Beauty Awards, founded by Satu Mäkinen, is to find the best natural cosmetics on the Nordic market, and to strengthen the position and growth of Nordic manufacturers internationally. And who might be better to select these products than internationally known Nordic stars, representing Nordic strength and beauty on a global scale!

Nordic brands can apply to the awards until the end of June, and will get their products verified by a cosmetics industry professional before they enter the test phase. After verifying the products on the grounds of whether they fit the natural category, the products will be tested by a Nordic celebrity jury, consisting of popular names like Oh Land, Aníta Briem and Clara Mae. The many actresses, singers and athletes, whose body, hair and skincare regimes simply have to perform at the highest of levels, are the best ones to judge the properties of the products.

The gorgeous judges of Nordic Natural Beauty Awards will have their hands full this summer, testing and selecting the best cosmetics brands from the 32 categories. The winners will be announced in October, with the award ceremony held online – partly due to the current situation, but also in keeping with the green values many of the brands live by.

We are also thrilled to announce that together with VisionLaw and Tia Translates, we will be partnering up with Nordic Natural Beauty Awards, and are impatiently waiting to ‘attend’ the digital ceremony in the fall, and learn which brands were the judges’ favourites.
