What does work mean to you?

I love how I can use my creativity and imagination in my work. Especially when it comes to illustration and animation, I think there’s so much freedom and space to experiment and tell stories. It’s always a fun challenge to figure out how to show an idea, a mood, or a story through a simple image – both when it’s still and when it’s moving.

I have always been fascinated by the way visual storytelling can show new perspectives, or how it can turn something complex into something that’s easier to access and understand.

Are you in love?

Sometimes. I’m in love with every fluffy and weird looking dog I meet on the street. I’m also in love with flowers on sale and sweaters that don’t itch.

Last time you laughed?

Probably watching some kind of fast food review on YouTube.

Last text message you sent?

A picture of my newly painted furniture to my mom.

Another thing I love about the creative process is that ideas often pop into your head when you least expect it – like when I’m on my bicycle, cooking, or going for a walk.

Whats is your favourite part of the creative process?

My favourite part of the creative process is when I manage to immerse myself into a project and forget about time and space – and then suddenly 5 hours have passed by even though it only feels like 10 minutes. For me, that is a reminder that I am working with something meaningful that I enjoy.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

That’s a difficult question to answer. But hopefully, I will be working even more with illustration, animation, and visual design, since that is what I enjoy the most right now. And I want to keep learning. I also hope to be lucky to work with some nice and creative people in the future!
