This season the Swedish brand J. Lindberg, chose to leave Fashion week in Stockholm, and instead show the AW18 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week; and here is the result!
A-line jackets, denim suits, Gore-Tex ski jackets, pinstriped skirts and shoulder pads; all combined with chunky sneakers and cowboy boots. The brand’s new creative director, Jens Werner, worked with a great variety of materials in this collection – his first for J Lindberg. He managed to give the brand a modern look featuring strong colours and an effortless vibe. It combines J. Lindbergs sportier vibe with street style and dressier outfits, which makes it work in just about any situation, on the run, in the snow, working or travelling.
In the finale, models marched down the runway like an army. Dressed in black, with J. Lindeberg logos on their chests; the label is back in business! Jens Werner brought out a new and fun energy for J. Lindberg AW18 and we can’t wait to see what he does next season!
