Through mystified and gloriously soft industry halls of an old warehouse in Sydhavnen harbor, Munthe presents its AW18 Collection as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week. And this particular design story needs time to be fully appreciated!
Munthe’s usual badass and sensual vision was not as evident in this collection, it needed a second eye, to settle in your mind after time and thoughtful attention to details no immediately obvious to the viewer – What we found was that it is effortlessly badass!
With a closer look the talented, Naja Munthe, has paid immense and careful dedication to powerful details, represented in the signature velour and satin suits, showing a true love of layering and mixing patterns with seemingly paradox materials – but it works – oh, so well. There is a profound understated tone of “the power woman”, colored in the quirky silhouette belts and translucent dresses, layered in misty shaded suits.
The AW18 collection pays a beautiful tribute to the dark autumn days, meaning it flows effortlessly with the day to day professional look – perfect for the Scandi entrepreneur on-the-go.
