Whyred AW18: Cool, Contemporary, and Classy

Whyred’s designer Roland Hjort was nominated for “Designer of the Year” at this years Swedish Elle Gala, probably because his design is always cool with classy silhouettes, great suits, and well-tailored garments. This season was not an exception.

Whyred presented their collection in Spegelsalen at Grand Hotel during the second day of Stockholm Fashion Week. The autumn-winter 2018 collection felt minimal and Scandinavian as per usual, it balances sporty with classy in a perfect way while combining textures impeccable. It felt cohesive with a lot of inspiring looks and a cool styling. It also had a 60’s meets 70’s vibe to it.

There was some great outerwear decorated with paisley, florals, and Prince of Wales checks. We saw fabrics such as denim, corduroy, fur, and velvet. The color palette shifted from red, black, brown, orange, blue and green with hints of white and pink.
