Johannes Adele AW18: Modern and Clean with French Finesse

Johannes Adele was founded in 2015 by the Swedish designer Johannes Leijonberg and French designer Adéle Gillardeau. The unisex brand can be described as a mash-up between a modern and clean aesthetic combined with french finesse.

Last autumn, Johannes Adele won the Swedish Fashion Council’s award ‘Swedish Fashion Talent of the Year’ and had their first show as a part of Swedish Fashion Talents last season. And this year they had their own show during the first day of Stockholm Fashion Week.

It was a great show that stood out from the rest, with live music, a great model casting and amazing styling, and it was by far the most inspiring and creative show along side Beckmans. We were treated to leather and glitter fabrics, stripes and sunflower patterns, with a color palette in black, white, yellow and green. Oversized boxy silhouettes, were teamed with hats, scarfs and rug-looking capes, giving the looks their ‘icing on the cake’.
