During the second day of Copenhagen Fashion Week, a 2014 graduate of the Danish Royal College of Art, Ellen Pedersen presented a collection called “My Generation.”
This menswear brand’s identity is influenced by the ‘youthful muse’ and is known for combining creative pattern cutting and tailoring with modern sportswear.
In her SS17 collection, Pedersen presented a collection which embraces the young generation. The colour scale went from nudes and black to vibrant red and pastel violet. Shirts combined with sportswear, easy to wear unisex pieces, sleek hair, a youthful and sometimes an androgynous look – that’s what this collection is about.
Ellen Pedersen definitely brought a new perception on youthfulness to the scene and surprises us with her specific take on it. I just love the idea of merging the male and female, the elegant with sporty. Moreover, how can one not want that nude unisex fur coat? And the violet hoodies? Seriously, can I just have them?
