Nordic News – week 29

Fashion week mania is just a few weeks away! In order to be prepared get caught up on the latest collection releases, ad campaigns, campaign videos, and special appearances from top models.

H&M just released a campaign video for their new sports collection “For Every Win” that features an inspiring interview with Caitlyn Jenner.

-The fall campaign for By Malene Birger gives us a glimpse into the AW16 collection called La Femme en Noir which is inspired by the modern “femme fatale” and the 1920’s. The campaign was shot in the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen and stars Antonina Petkovic and Danish Regitze Christensen.

Weekday has released a new jacket collection called “Remains.” The entire collection is made out of leftover materials from textile production.

-Danish top models Josphine Skriver and Caroline Brasch Nielsen starred in  a new campaign film for Vero Modas AW16 collection – in Paris!

-For the third year in a row Greenpeace has created a list called “The Detox Catwalk” which creates an overview of the most and least environmentally- friendly clothing brands. Among those in the top of the list was H&M who has thrived this year with their Conscious collection, and garment collecting.

-The popular Swedish shoe Doja from the brand Eytys now has a new slip-on model perfect for the last lazy day of the summer. They come in white and dark brown and have no laces to tie!
