Anyone else going to some music festivals this summer? – Roskilde? Øya? Way Out West? We wish we could go to all of them!
Last summer we wrote about the best festivals in each Nordic country to help make it easier to choose which festival to buy tickets to. But this year it seems like there is so much going on! There are new festivals popping up everywhere like Mablis and Vill Vill Vest.
For those of you who still don’t know which festivals to go to this year here are the latest updates with Nordic festivals this summer:
–Øya Festival has added four new names to their line-up in August: Unnveig Aas, Rise Above, Skalla and Koo Koo Kitchen. All these bands will be preforming on the stage called Biblioteket which is for more up and coming artists, literature, interviews and the like.

-Gothenburg’s Kulturkalas Festival has released the line-up for this year which includes Silvana Imam, Titiyo, Miriam Bryant and more. This cultural/music festival takes place from the 16-21 of August.
-Since Bergen has produced two of the biggest names in Nordic music this year (Kygo and Aurora) a new festival had to be established in the Norwegian city. Vill Vill Vest (Wild Wild West) is a weekend festival in mid-September that has just released its first headliners – which include Chain Wallet, Drippin, 9 Grader Nord, and Sløtface.
Check out the new music video from Chain Wallet:
-The Danish accessory brand Beck Söndergaard is opening a pop-up shop at Roskilde where festival-goers can buy everything from bikinis to sandals to necklaces.
-Karpe Diem, and Albin Lee Meldau are just some of the newer names added to this year’s line-up for Way Out West. Sia, Morrissey, and Seinabo Sey will also be performing this August.
-If you couldn’t make it to this year’s Roskilde, don’t worry! It is now possible to stream all of the concerts live from home via gaffa.dk.
