Swedish design studio Blå Station in Åhus, Sweden, showcased these stunning acoustic panels, designed by Stone Designs, at the Salone del Mobile 2016. Feature walls become a real talking point through the addition of these striking colour combinations and formations, making them the perfect addition to the office or home. Like puzzle pieces they fit together in a vast variety of variations, making your choice of the panels a unique one. They come in two options: Ginkgo or Gaia – and their formations are endless. They are a mesmerising play on the eye and as well as being beautiful wall Murals, they act as a sound buffer. Ginkgo reduces ambient noise and echoes in the room whilst Gaia gives the room the best sound quality. Ingenious and striking to look at are themes that we certainly love together. With these great designs, acoustic wall panels become beautiful art pieces too.

Words are my thing, and so are great designs. Based in the UK, and since graduating in English Lit, I try as much as possible to read everything to do with design, culture and style. Since travelling to Norway and Denmark a handful of times, I have become besotted with Scandinavian style and design.
