Onar Studios is a Helsinki based Fashion brand whose name comes from the ancient Greek word for “dream”. The collections are a great mix of futurist details, and Nordic lines that are often infused with bright colors that are not usually associated to fur, one of their key fabrics. It’s products are handcrafted in Finland and Greece and they are all ethically sourced as well as vegetable tanned and 100% free of Chrome.
The brand has had great international exposure and has been featured in magazines like Elle France, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Vogue Italia, Vogue UK and The New York Times. In February, Vogue Italia named Onar one of the rising Finnish brands to watch, a fact that only echoes its growing presence in places like New York, Berlin, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles and Reykjavik.
March 16 marked the opening of Onar Studios’ flagship store in the Design District in Helsinki, truly a must-see boutique when in the Finnish Capital.
