Crushed velvet, manchester, skirts and sneakers. Can it get any better? It’s not a secret that Ida Klamborn was one of my favorites last season, and this collection just stated the same fact once more. The collection entailed both silhouettes and colours who went in line with what feels like typical Ida Klamborn design. But the items was still innovative and an edgy touch to the sometimes feminin approach, like the ripped hems in som of the garments.
The designer is well-known for her political and democratic essence which could be seen in the collections, both in diversed models (hope this will stop surprising and get common soon!) and the initiative democratic front row, which you can read about in our Nordic News. The material mix and the use of both high heels and sneakers also radiates that everyone are welcome, which Klamborn states in her presesention of the collection “Nobody belongs here more than you”. In Klamborns earlier collections we have seen artists like Seinabo Sey and Zara Larsson, and this season the famous artist Carolina Gynning walked down the runway with a t-shirt saying “Super Mega Pussy Vagina”.
Here’s our favorites from Ida Klamborn!
