CPHFW – Freya Dalsjø AW16

After a stellar Spring/Summer collection that highlighted woman sexuality with see-through dresses and short cut dresses that left us in awe we were all anticipating what magic Freya Dalsjø would deliver for AW16. This season Freya chose to embody femininity again, however in a more bohemian way.

After what could be considered young and girly looks for summer, the winter collection was a natural continuation into self-assured adulthood reminiscent of the 70’s. Dalsjø utilised the autumn tones of rust, olive and orange to her advantage, creating elegant looks like the wide leg rust corduroy trousers and box cut top combo along with the striped dresses with pops of sharp blue and olive which played into the urban hippie vibe that could easily be at home in any metropolitan area.

As one of the best in the business when it comes to using fur, Dalsjø showed her prowess in a cropped, slim fit jacket in sleek black mink and a thigh length striped piece which made beautiful use of the striking blue featured throughout her collection. With Autumn / Winter 2016 Freya Dalsjø continued to solidify herself as a major player in the luxury market with an impressive interpretation of femininity.
