CPHFW – Asger Juel Larsen AW 16

This season felt like the most well rounded and put together AJL collection to date and in a move towards a more commercial aesthetic the designer had toned down a lot of the “madhouse” that was present in previous seasons, opting for caramel browns, black and forest camo to create his post-apocolypic rockabilly looks. In saying this the designer still managed to stay true to the labels DNA pushing through vintage rock inspired looks with strong tartans, ripped black jeans and leopard print detailing throughout.

Entitled “Born Worn”

Stand out pieces were the outerwear which included an oversized poncho in waxed cotton with shearling lining, the tartan and camel jackets with leopard print collar, and the draped fur blanket in a mix of colours that was more than super cozy.
