Our team was keen to be part of Northmodern in Copenhagen last week. In a nutshell, it is a bi-annual trade fair for design industry professionals, buyers, journalists and general public. You can expect to see everything from contract furniture, bed linen and scented candles to experimental student work, independent labels and carpenters.
In this hub of beautifulness, we got thinking about ways to revamp our own rooms and we mutually came to the conclusion that wall art is probably our best bet. We set our eyes on art dealers and so it began: we walked, we talked and we stalked – we’ve done all this for you, so that you don’t have to. So without further ado, here’s a list of 5 galleries that will help you to transform your walls from bare to insta-worthy.
Stolen Moments Gallery
One of my personal favourites. Daring, sensual and bold.
Another personal favourite of mine. Hagedornhagen offers eccentric, wacky or even creepy art. They sell high quality artprints of insects, beetles, butterflies and plants. The artwork oozes nostalgia as it resembles the look of old silk screen printing.
Graphic design and typography wizards. Go check them out.
An online gallery bringing together graphic designers, agencies, artists and illustrators.
Lisa W Breitholtz
Lisa mainly paints in oil, acrylic and charcoal, often adding textile applications.
