Hello, my name is Emma Felin and I’m a 16 year old Finnish-American fashion blogger living in Oxford, UK. I started my blog, The Sassy Street, a couple years ago and I’ve tried to incorporate my Finnish roots and sense of European style into my content since. I’m so excited to be writing for Nordic Style Magazine, and to share my style inspiration with a Nordic twist.
Autumn is my favorite season for makeup, the cold weather seems to give an excuse to go for more vampy colors; think of a palette filled with berry reds, deep oranges, and brown tones. For this look, I went for copper and rose themed makeup, using browns and golds, with a pink tinted lipstick.
I’m not usually one to use eyeshadow as it tends to get smudged on my eyes throughout the day. Instead I drew a subtle brown wing and filled in the rest of my lids with blended eyeliner. I kept the lips more simple, not to overwhelm with multiple statements going on throughout my look. I subtly contoured with a dark rose blush to give some dimension to my face and bring the makeup together.
eyes – Maybelline ‘The Nudes’ pallette; L’Oreal Voluminous mascara
lips – Urban Decay ‘Naked’ liner
cheeks – Estee Lauder ‘Sensuous Rose’

Hope this look gives you inspiration for the upcoming weekend!
