Embracing their hometown of Helsinki, Finnish label FRENN presents their Autumn-Winter collection for 2015.
FRENN draws on the laid back nature of the city and continues to produce versatile options that allow the wearer to add their own personality whether dressing up or down. “Quality materials, fitted cuts, and easy structure form the backbone of the brand” as the need to ensure warmth is common and practical with the Scandinavian labels. Whether it be from the wool felt and tweed, denim or cotton this dedication to quality shows through in the creation process.
All designs continue to take place in Helsinki with garments being manufactured by hand locally in Europe to keep the quality of goods at the high standard the founders strive for. New this year for the label is knitwear that is proudly made in Finland.
An updated version of suit trousers “Sampo”is a relaxed version adding a waistband and soft wool to create a comfortable pant good for all hours of the day. Shown in a Navy and grey option these can easily be topped off with a sports jacket for a casual tailored look. Opting for the simple tones the blue in the collection stands out and adds a welcome bit of colour to the concrete jungle on a winters day.
For now, its time to go out and enjoy the sun and if your in need of some summer linens you can shop the FRENN summer collection here
