We’re taking one final look behind the scenes of Reykjavík Fashion Festival which took place 12th-15th of March and coincided with DesignMarch.
The event was definitely one to remember and left us, as it has in previous years, wanting more. It’s an event that has become a staple in the local culture, showcasing Icelandic fashion design in all its variety and proving that the Icelandic fashion scene is flourishing.
This year’s festival featured the unveiling of the latest creations by Icelandic designers SIGGA MAIJA, JÖR, Another Creation, Scintilla, MAGNEA and EYLAND in a series of runway shows in Reykjavík’s Harpa concert hall.
Along with having the pleasure of attending RFF as guests we also had the priviledge of experiencing the excitement surrounding the preparation through the eyes of a selected few who were able to observe the event from all sides.
