CPH Fashion Week – Han Kjøbenhavn A/W 2015

Simple and bold is how the Han Kjøbenhavn played out. As ambient background music played the models entered centre stage taking their place with backs to the audience giving us a full view of the entire collection. As the heavy drums built up the atmosphere the show officially kicked into gear with models carrying oversized wooden briefcases to accompany the looks.

In what came across as a creative breakaway from the pressure put on society and image, the boys from Han Kjøbenhavn once again opted to keep the models anonymous in turn captivating the audience with their playful design and show. Throughout day one at Copenhagen Fashion Week grey featured heavily, however it was Han Kjøbenhavn that seemed to lighten up the dreary Copenhagen winter with bright pops of yellow and deep blue contrasting the reputed monochrome looks.

Functional outerwear, tech fabrics and geometric patterns were the cornerstone of this effort with the brave Danish men donning slim tailored pants and sandals to finish off their winter fits. Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen and Tim Faith know how to throw a party and this show was definitely worth coming out for. Look out for the white overcoat coming soon!
