FW in Sthlm A/W15: House of Dagmar

The trio behind swedish House of Dagmar showed at Berns in Stockholm on the second day of Fashion Week in Stockholm. A collection throwing it back to the seventies while at the same time offering the contemporary woman something new and exciting to wear from day to night.

The collection was partly inspired by the painting “The Lady with the Veil” by Alexander Roslin, which was seen clearly in draped pieces. The draped clothing left the luxurious garments to speak for themselves which they did flawlessly. With open backs, flattering cuts and hemlines the Dagmar sisters managed to create a subtle feminine vibe throughout the whole collection.

Inspiration was also drawn from the 70’s, with the colors varying from red, orange and yellow shades to blue, black, light grey and camel. The loose leather trousers in black and camel were a definite favorite. The knit in brown with a blue print on was also a statement piece in the collection as well as the big golden necklaces.

The collection breathed comfortable sexiness with biker jackets, skirts with slits and a hint of fur. Clothing made for the fashion conscious intelligent career woman who wants to dress in a subtly sexy way while still staying mysterious.
