Danish Wood Wood has teamed up with Disney. Together the two have created a capsule collection of contemporary streetwear for both men and women.
The graphic collection features everything from sophisticated collared shirts, skirts and dresses to casual t-shirts, beanies and sweaters.
The lines and colours are kept minimalistic but the familiar face of Mickey Mouse is stretched and distorted, creating a surrealistic feeling.
The playful collections’ main inspiration was the classic Mickey Mouse character and it remains recognizable although being redesigned in a more radical and modern way. Despite the collection being a collaboration, several of Wood Wood’s signature elements are included. The clothes feel contemporary and stay true to the streetwear style. The colours are kept subtle, mainly in shades of black, white and navy.
The collection will be pre-launched at Colette in Paris on October 20th and will launch globally at selected retailers on November 3rd. October 27th marks the day the collection will be available for pre-orders on woodwood.dk.
