Trend: Orange is the new black

What is the most important colour this season? Pantone says it’s ‘radiant orchid’, but if we read the runways right, orange is the new black this time. Orange reigned on the spring catwalks of Proenza Schouler, Gucci, Narciso Rodriguez, Joseph Altuzarra, Opening Ceremony, Dior, Givenchy… the list seems to be endless.

The most desired way of wearing orange this spring is the head-to-toe option. All the shades of this spicy colour, from exotic, juicy tones to warm, rusty hues combined in one daring style do the trick perfectly. Bottega Venetta went even a step furter and put orange on a red headed Magdalena Jasek in their spring look book.

But to show you really mean business, go for mixing orange with other bold colours. Cobalt blues and dark navy hues create dramatic effect matched with paprika shades. Complementing orange with purple is even more sophisticated and our absolute favorite way to style orange this spring. We love the berry tones from COS and bright lilac from & Other Stories, and to be completely fair, we can also pay respects to PANTONE‘s colour of the year by wearing ‘radiant orchid’ with orange background on Nike sneakers.

  • Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of.

I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about worries that they just don’t know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects ,
people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more.
