Can’t get enough of Henrik Vibskov? The Danish multi-faceted artist is full of surprises. He spoils us with runway installations, art exhibitions and of course with his one-of-a-kind clothes and accessories. If you ever visit Copenhagen, or have been there, but definitely will return, add to your to-do list Henrik Vibskov’s newest project: a cozy café with view on the water named “Den Plettede Gris“. You can visit his Boutique in the centre of the Danish capital, followed by a hot cup of latté in his brand new café that is located right on the next island. If you have been participating in Copenhagen Fashion Week, you know this area called, Papirøen, where Henrik Vibskov has held his fashion shows for a few seasons now.
As we got used to his creativity floating in the area around us, the Den Plettede Gris is no different. This small black house surrounded with flowers, turns into a welcoming cozy place to hang out on the inside. The room is very light, as typically for Danish homes, while the home made furniture and improvised sitting solutions create a pleasant atmosphere. Oh, and let us not forget about the perfect view, the water.
Name: Den Plettede Gris
Address: Papirøen, Trangravsvej 5
Opening first: April 17th 2014
