Freja Beha Erichsen and Designer, Cécilia Bönström
There is one fashion collaboration that caught the whole fashion industry’s attention and loaded the social media recently. But it is not surprising, since the collaboration is between the French brand Zadig & Voltaire and Danish top model, Freja Beha Erichsen. Freja has been the face of several ad campaigns for many collections of Zadig & Voltaire.
Cécilia Bönström, a Swedish ex-model who became the designer of Zadig & Voltaire and Freja, work together on creating a capsule collection for the second time. The pieces are tattooed with Freja’s initial, “F”, and her birth day “87”. The collection consists of classical and timeless items, including a white, khaki and black T-shirt, denim jacket and leather bag.
The collection is aimed at the liberated, real woman, who is free to express herself and wants to support charitable associations. This idea is translated into action, since 40% of the profit made from selling this capsule collection will be donated to the French non-governmental association, Médecins Sans Frontières.
“Freja meets Zadig & Voltaire” collection 14 will be available online and in selected stores at the end of March.
