Friday Fever: Lay Low

Lay Low is the alter-ego of Icelandic singer/songwriter Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir, she was born in London to a Sri Lankan father and Icelandic mother. Lay Low’s music is bit of an infusion of blues, pop and folk music with her own unique twist that comes together nicely with her velvet voice.

Lay Low just released her fourth album Talking About The Weather a month ago and it is more intimate and personal where the weather and forces of nature helped sculpting it. Gently was the first single released and sets the tune nicely for the album where Lay Low’s powerful guitar and velvet voice play a lead role with a new windswept intimacy.
