Dinner for the Holiday Season: Warm Punch

The last item on our holiday season dinner menu is a warm punch.

This delicious warm punch is great to serve before a holiday dinner or after the meal with some cookies. It is full of wonderful tasting christmas seasonings and warms up nicely during a cold winter day.


This is what you need for 6 people:

3 dl Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

6 dl Water

1 Bottle White Wine (Dry)

3 Cinnamon Sticks

2 tbsp Cloves

1 tsp Ginger Powder

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

~ 2 dl Sugar

Grated Orange Peel from 2-3 Oranges

1,5 dl Stroh (Dark Rum)

1. Measure in a pot all the other ingredients except the rum. Heat up on medium temperature for ~ 15 minutes.

2. Add the rum, mix and check the flavour. Add any seasonings or sugar if needed.

3. Pour through a sieve into cups and serve immediately.
