Trend Report: Artistic prints

Art and fashion have always been strongly connected. Mostly known for the avant-garde fashion, where names as Gareth Pugh, Hussein Chalayan or Alexander McQueen did contribute to the wearable art section and influence it in a way that it will never be forgotten. Those designers and many other talents have associated the combination and harmony of fashion and art. One manifestation that had significant impact on the art movement is the imitation of paintings, abstract or still life, as print on attractive garment pieces, such as dresses and skirts. This hit is more and more absorbed in the mass-market and fashion companies try to create unique looks that tell a story by themselves through the prints presented and create around it an imagined world. Wonderful pastel colours or Jackson Pollock alike artistic prints can be noticed through the wide variety of clothes offered to us by the enormous market.
